FAQs

How experienced do I have to be?

We cater for all levels of experience even those that have never touched a horse before!!! Range of ages that we have had are from two years to ninety years. Young children can be lead on the infamous ‘Squealer’ or the big old boy ‘Charlie’ a half Clydesdale with a big heart. They can also go at the front of Mum or Dad. For the experienced rider we can take you on horses that can and do want to run and are also very agile when getting around the mountain tracks.

CAN I BRING MY OWN HORSE?

We welcome riders and their horses. Please discuss this at the time of booking.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Shoes, boots or trainers with a heel. Long trousers or track pants, no shorts. Bring a change of clothes in case you get wet when crossing the river.

Will I get wet?

You may get wet on one of the water crossings so it is a good idea to bring spare footwear and trousers.

How Do I Pay?

Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos, Cash

Does there need to be a minimum number?

No. Our treks are tailor made and we go out on a trek with individual clients as well as groups.
